We have had a great start to the year with all the Pre-Primary students settling in well. This year we have the opportunity to participate in the school's music, art and phys ed programs. We also go to the library on Fridays.

During first Term our focus theme is Me and My Family. As a part of this theme we have been discussing how we are all different and how that makes us special. We have measured how tall we are and we made a mural and ordered ourselves from tallest to shortest.

We celebrated Pancake Day by making pikelets. Here you can see the pikelets bubbling as they cook and when we turned them over they were nice and brown. We put butter and golden syrup on them - they were yummy.

We have been learning about the letter "s". We collected some items that start with "s". The items we collected included a stethoscope, a spotty scarf, a spoon, scissors, stones and shells.
